AT LAST!!!

It's been a long wait, but at last the TV movie of Dead Like Me is out soon.

I hope this dvd sells enough to get them to make another season or 2 of one of my fav TV shows.

"MGM Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Dead Like Me on 17th February 2009 priced at $26.98 SRP. Ellen Muth and Callum Blue return for this film set two years after the TV series ended. The story sees the undead reapers introduced to their new boss, Cameron Kane (Henry Ian Cusick), whose new agenda creates disorder within the reaper clan. While Daisy (Sarah Wynter) and Mason (Callum Blue) fall prey to Cameron’s temptations, the infamous Georgia “George” Lass (Ellen Muth) creates more reaper havoc by breaking an important reaper rule: revealing herself to her Earthly family.

MEGA MONDAY at PLAY.COM

A few cheap games at Play.com with some nice bargains to be had. I went for the Far Cry 2 play exclusive steelbook for £17.99.

NOVEMBER DVD UPDATE

A bigger update than most months thanks to a very generous HMV, and the trade in value it gave for old (very old) games :D

Below - Haha! That's a daft load of dvds to buy in 25 days, although a fair chunk of them were for old traded games and thanks to my wee sis Nicola for buying me a few of them xxx.. Still daft though hehe :D

New Xbox Experience (NXE)

So today was the big day for the worldwide rollout of NXE, the all new dashboard for the Xbox 360.

There was a beta version on the net for a while that you could download, but you were not able to go onto xbox live until today if you had used the update in this way, and there was a trial thing with about 10,000 people each time getting to test out the full thing for bugs.

So now that it's here what do I think? Well I like it, it's a lot faster than the other version and looks a lot better, the avatars look very silly and if you try to make yourself and you're male you're going to look gay no matter what you do, so it's best to have fun with them and make one up (I made Gospel Elvis from the 68 comeback)

I love the ripping the game to HDD and I really like all the art for each game as you look through stuff, it feels very nice and loads fast to boot... OK! It did load fast around 10:20am this morning but now they servers are a bit overloaded so there's error codes all over the shop. So if you want to check it out, it will be best waiting a few days to let things settle down.

Oh!

AT LAST! they let you delete those old arcade trial versions from your game history; it took a lot of years but they got there in the end.:D

All in all it's a great update and worth the wait.
