JAMESTALKALOT MOVIES (My youtube videos blog)
I added this fly dvd set to my website yesterday and I made a video of one of my fave movie books that I’ve had since 1990. I made the book video for a net friend and you can find her website by clicking the banner below.
THE FLY: UCE PICS AND INFO ON MY SITE
I made this video yesterday because there’s SO many pics to add to my site in the usual way.
I had added some music from the OC soundtracks. Just some music bites, but WMG said no to it on youtube. I put in a dispute with the fair use act of 1976, but decided to crap out of it and just delete the video and upload another one without sound, then select some music from youtube (it’s not very good)
It’s better watching the HQ version, so click on HQ :-D.
I’m going to make a lot more of these videos (and try to find some better legal music haha)
If you’ve been sitting on the fence thinking about getting this set, well I hope there’s enough info here to help you decide either way whether or not to buy it (this will be the aim of most of the videos I do in the near future)
Enjoy! Although the music really does suck!… (It’s what volume control was invented for though lol)
EDIT: I updated the music to something a bit less sore on the ears :-P
A load of dvds turned up today including the OC set I got in the play.com April Fools Day sale for £34.99.
The OC set has got to be the best looking dvd boxsets EVER! Lookout for an in depth look at this set sometime over the next few days.
below, a sneak peak at this superb set. I’ll be posting up every page of this boxset very soon.
A few days into April, and already a lot of dvds! Mostly thanks to HMV and the £57 they gave me for some old games.
First off, I can’t believe it’s been 1 year since my mum took the plunge to stop smoking. She started to quit at this time last year and stopped 100% on the 6th of April 2008. So, just want to say, WELL DONE MUM!!!
--------------------------------------------
So today was my birthday, after my family being a little bit splintered over the past few years, it was very nice to have my family around on my birthday. I had a great day, so thanks to all my family for the gifts but most important, for just being there. Love you guys! xxxxxxxxx
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last, but by no means least. Part 2 of my March dvd update.
Yep it’s only part 1, I’ve still got a lot more to get before this month is out. It’s birthday month you see, and also the fact that so many dvds on my wishlist have been crazily cheap, so I’ve had to get them even though I have no time at the moment to watch them (I’m working my way through Tru Calling complete series at the moment and I got that for £6 odd a few years back, yea only now watching it haha, but it’s ace and I’m on disc 4 after a a week)
I did watch all season 3 of the 4400, and have 2 discs of Season 4 left (love this show, why cancel it? Arrrg!). I also watched Stardust, the Postman, Walk Hard so I did at least get through some of these.
Don’t ask what the booklet is doing there next to the 4400 season 4, maybe I put it there to keep it all even? LOL! Naaaa it was just me being daft as usual!
Part 2 will be soonish :D
Got this today, £85.57 from amazon uk
Frasier the complete series season 1-11. Early bday gift from my mum :-D
Cheers mum! xxx
Frasier is one of my all time fave shows, so funny and witty. LOVE IT!!!!
The dvd box is VERY small, very simple packaging, neat and tidy and inside, each disc contains more laughs than me looking in the mirror (Yes, it’s THAT funny)
My first batch of DVDs for the year (and a Elvis book). I had planned on getting next to no dvds for the next few months in a bid to catch up a bit.. Oh well, I was weak as the prices for the dvds I got were too cheap to resist.
I know it’s only 11 days worth of DVDs hehe, but I’m going to try and not get many more over the next few months..REALLY!!!!!!
It's the last day, of the last month, of 2008... And what a great year it has been (at least for getting super cheap dvds hehe). I got a good chunk of the movies and TV shows I really wanted, but there's still a fair few on my wish list. So roll on 2009!
And below are the dvds I got today (my final dvds of the year) as well as the amazing Crystal Lake Memories book that also turned up today.
Well that's Christmas over for another year and a great Christmas it was. No moaning family members as everybody seemed very happy and upbeat, the gifts were great (with a lot of cheeky funny ones hehe) and everybody was in good health.
Good times!
Here's what I got from Santa:D -
Sweeties
Money
A Razor

Socks
Smelly stuff including my fav aftershave

Toys including an RC K9 For The Win!
A few dvds hehe including the full James Bond set.

I had asked My mum for Doctor Who dvds (My Dad got me season 1 and my sister Nicola got me season 2), she thought this was funny so she got me the toys to go with them:D lol! Haha good one mum :D
Oh and not in the pic is a 200g Toblerone I was munching :P
So thanks to all my family for all the great gifts xxx
AT LAST!!!
It's been a long wait, but at last the TV movie of Dead Like Me is out soon.
I hope this dvd sells enough to get them to make another season or 2 of one of my fav TV shows.
"MGM Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Dead Like Me on 17th February 2009 priced at $26.98 SRP. Ellen Muth and Callum Blue return for this film set two years after the TV series ended. The story sees the undead reapers introduced to their new boss, Cameron Kane (Henry Ian Cusick), whose new agenda creates disorder within the reaper clan. While Daisy (Sarah Wynter) and Mason (Callum Blue) fall prey to Cameron’s temptations, the infamous Georgia “George” Lass (Ellen Muth) creates more reaper havoc by breaking an important reaper rule: revealing herself to her Earthly family.
Features include:
A bigger update than most months thanks to a very generous HMV, and the trade in value it gave for old (very old) games :D
Below - Lots of Christmas movies this month to watch in Dec.
Below - Digipaks/tins and slipcovers (Love the HMV exclusive 3D HULK sleeve:D oh and Wall*E came with a Wall*E rubik's cube)
Below - More movies that can now be wiped from my wish list.
Below - Cheap TV sets from HMV :D
Below - Haha! That's a daft load of dvds to buy in 25 days, although a fair chunk of them were for old traded games and thanks to my wee sis Nicola for buying me a few of them xxx.. Still daft though hehe :D
The DVDs I got through the month of September
And Q that I just got on Friday (forgot to add to the other pic)
