THE OC COMPLETE R2 (UK) DVD BOOKSET

I made this video yesterday because there’s SO many pics to add to my site in the usual way.

I had added some music from the OC soundtracks. Just some music bites, but WMG said no to it on youtube. I put in a dispute with the fair use act of 1976, but decided to crap out of it and just delete the video and upload another one without sound, then select some music from youtube (it’s not very good)

It’s better watching the HQ version, so click on HQ :-D.

I’m going to make a lot more of these videos (and try to find some better legal music haha)

If you’ve been sitting on the fence thinking about getting this set, well I hope there’s enough info here to help you decide either way whether or not to buy it (this will be the aim of most of the videos I do in the near future)

Enjoy! Although the music really does suck!… (It’s what volume control was invented for though lol)

EDIT: I updated the music to something a bit less sore on the ears :-P

FABLE 2 and FALLOUT 3

I got Fable 2 on Friday just past and have put more than a few hours into it over the weekend. Fable 2 is a great feel-good game, I love the graphics style and the music and sound is just amazing. (you can get 6 free tracks from the soundtrack HERE including the amazing title track)

I talked my dad into playing this game, so I hooked up with him in the game for some coop and now he is hooked on it, so I think I can say bye bye to my game disc for a few months... Oh well it was really fun while it lasted...

BUT!!!

FALLOUT 3 is out today in the USA and on Halloween here in the UK, so I'm sorry Fable 2, you were ace, but Fallout 3 is THE game I've been waiting on, forget GTA4 even, this is the one, this years holy grail of gaming for me. Sure it's only going to be the 4th game I've got and really spent time on this year (the others being Fable 2 of course, as well as GTA4 and Bully all on the Xbox 360) but this is it; I've hardly put any time into gaming so I would not feel guilty sinking about 100 hours into this baby.

I pre-ordered the GAME UK exclusive version that comes with a figurine, I don't get these editions ever really, but I'm getting this for the same price as the normal edition (less with the reward points) so I thought "what the hell!"

Anyway here's a couple of Video reviews for both Fable 2 and the IGN Fallout 3 review that's just been posted a few hours ago.

CATCH UP: ROD, BDAYS AND NKOTB

This is just a small catch up post of some things I missed posting when they happened, and I'm only now getting around to it.

First off, my wee nephew Aiden was 5 on the 10th of this month and since uncle James would not move from the DVD section, he went all green and angry and hulked out in Asda... Don't mess with a 5 year old Hulk! :D hehe.

Next up, an update about my ROD 360 last month. Well my Xbox 360 came back after about 10 days and they changed the motherboard and the DVD drive and gave the standard free 1 month gold card. It's works great and should be put to plenty of use with the release of Fable 2 and Fallout 3 over the Christmas period.

NKOTB Concert.

NKOTB2

My Sister Nicola is a HUGE (well was as a kid) New Kids on the Block fan. After she found out they were making a comeback (Old Men on the Block) she was more hyper than her kids, on a month supply of Irn-Bru and nothing else. She was even more hyper when she knew they were coming to Scotland on the 18th of Jan 2009 at the SECC. So off course she HAD to go and re-live her teenage glory days. But who would go with her? Well that 'WHO' is 'ME'.

Yep I'm going to see NKOTB in concert with her, I'm going to listen to all those songs that used to do my head in as my sisters blasted there songs day in and day out. The funny thing is? I'm really looking forward to it, and with all those now 30 something women there, I might just have to dress up as Joey McIntyre... Hey! In the dark with the pork pie hat on and singing Hangin' Tough, I could just pull it off;) (It's going to be REALLY DARK and they will be screaming so loud they won't hear me sing...:P)

And last but not least and uodate for today.

HAPPY 31st BIRTHDAY NICOLA

bday

Here's A music Video for you :D xxxxxxx

MY PHONE KICKED THE BUCKET

A few days ago my beloved Sony Ericsson W800i packed in/died/kicked the bucket :(

DSC06038

It was well looked after, but it was also well used so it's understandable that it passed away at such a young age *sniff*

I'm not one for getting a new phone every 5 mins, so I kinda grudge having to get another phone. After looking around and reading a lot of reviews I've went for the Sony Ericsson K770i Cyber-shot with Vodafone (who I was with before)

It was as close as I could find to the w800i, but also had some updated stuff on it and the reviews were mostly really good. I can also use the battery from my w800i as it uses the same one and my w800i battery was working fine. Not sure if I can still use the headphones I have for my w800i? I like those headphones so if I get different ones (and I think you do) I hope the old ones plug in (they should).

The phone was under £70 so not too expensive

UNGA BUNGA!

Dunno what made me think of it but it was something Chuck Rock used to say in an old Amiga 500 game many moons ago, when I thought of Chuck Rock I thought about the amazing title theme, check it out, it's superb and was the best thing about the game. I still have this game and my Amiga 500 as well in the loft someplace sitting alongside my old Amstrad cpc 464:D

SPRING FEVER

Well the clocks were changed yesterday, so Summer is on the way again, it's spring and today the sun has been out all day like it knows it's spring.... Oh and it's my birthday so maybe that's why the sun is out???:P

My fave spring song is from an Elvis movie called Girl Happy (co starring Shelley Fabares) and I've added the video below.

Battlestar Galactica Cylon Kids

I shot this footage last year (about Aug 2006) of my wee niece and nephew just playing and having fun.

While I was sorting the footage onto DVD for my sister; I decided to edit some of it down and added some clips/sound effects/music/credits from the TV show Battlestar Galactica (remake show)

I think it turned out 'OK' for what it is and my family and the kids got a kick out of seeing it:).
