UNCLE JAMES AND MAN FLU
My sister gave birth to wee baby Jayde at the start of June and I've spent most of the month with killer man flu (still not 100% over it). I can't say much about wee Jayde since I've hardly seen her. I saw her for a wee bit when my sister got out the hospital but since then my sister has been super busy and there's the fact I've had that killer flu so she could not come near me hehe. I hope to see her this Friday though. One good thing about having this flu was I was able to catch up on my many new dvds over the past few months :D

I got this through the post yesterday ($34.99 from amazon.com) and it's a superb set.
I watched First Blood last night and some of the extras on the set and I loved that movie again. I've never had any of the Rambo movies on DVD before so I've only ever seen Rambo on the telly and VHS (all the time in 4:3) so it was like watching First Blood for the first time. The picture and sound quality was superb (ok so not BD but superb none the less) and I can't wait to see the other movies.
I've never before seen the latest one, but after watching some of the extras for it and the story of Burma and the things that go on there, I can't wait to see Rambo go and kick some well deserved ass.
Sly talks in the extras about how this movie helped open the eyes to a lot of people of just what goes on there (that can only be a good thing). It's another example of just how horrid this world is. There's so much killing going on in the world and we have the power to put a stop to it (at least this kind of mass slaughter). When you sit and watch Rambo think how lucky you are. I know I will be.
